In order to let K.3 children adapt to primary school life, our school will have progressive Primary One simulation activities in the second semester. The activities are divided into two parts:
Part 1:Initiated by the teaching theme “I go to primary school”, we introduce the environment, setting and schedule of the primary school to the children. Also, we will arrage school visit for children to learn about the facilities of the primary school. Children will understand the new things they may face later on when entering to the primary school.Through emotional and social classes, children could have preparation earlier and learn how to solve problems, and cultivate positive psychology.
Part 2:”Simulation Activities for Primary One”
Children could experience the primary school life by simulating activities, such as, learning by different subjects, bringing own stationery, managing their time during recess, writing students handbook and etc. We will cooperate with the primary schoolteachers and arrage children to have lessons in the primary school.
